FOOD AND A WEE DRAM
We try our best to offer all locally sourced products which are of the finest quality. MacQueens butcher, Fyne Ales from Loch Fyne, Fish from Gigha or Tarbert landed with the langoustines and Eve's Argyll coffee. Winston Churchill for his wonderful wild venison and seasonal game.
Our dining room has period features and furniture creating a relaxing atmosphere. The views North & South of the Kyles from this room are lovely. The bar is a more cosy and relaxed.
Chef Owner Joe and his team prepare fantastic fresh dishes using local game and fish and foraged produce as well as products sourced as local as possible. Dining is available to residents and non-residents 6 days a week for dinners, lunches Tuesdays to Sundays. We always try our best to accommodate special dietary requirements.

We enjoyed our autumnal stay so much that it's tempting to keep quiet about the hotel for selfish reasons, but the owners really do deserve every success. Our room had beautiful views over the water to Bute, (the ferry is a minute's walk from the hotel) and was decidedly cosy. Best thing about the hotel, though, was the welcoming bar where we ate on all three nights of our trip: the food was excellent, likewise the wines, there was a nice friendly atmosphere - not always the case when you are in someone's local - and a warming log-burner, so the overall experience was very relaxing. We aim to return next year.
